These standards are shaped by cultural, moral and ethical values, as well as
the shared beliefs and customs within a
society or community. They guide individuals on how to conduct themselves,
communicate and behave in various social contexts.
The central idea behind social standards is to establish a framework that promotes social cohesion, cooperation and order within a society or community.
