Introduction
Education is a bi-polar process in which the more mature of the human society (the philosopher, the teacher, the educator) deliberately tailor the development of the less mature (the pupil, the learner the educand or the student) for the overall development of the individual and the ultimate betterment of the human society. Education is indeed directed at shaping human behaviour and therefore, must necessarily emanate from a good understanding of human behaviour. Psychology the study of human behavior, therefore, has much to offer to education. Indeed, it is a gateway to successful endeavor in education. This course provides contribution that psychology has made to the process of learning as a means for promoting efficiency in the teaching-learning process
