Introduction
This course focuses on the meaning of curriculum as a means of promoting old round growth of the individual learner – intellectually, physically and emotionally. The course deals with the content areas of learning at various levels of education, their roles in contributing and the means for monitoring this growth. It also covers resources used at various educational levels for the development of the individuals preparatory to living and making meaningful contribution to the labour market and the society at large.

Objectives
By the end of this course, learners should be able to:-
a. explain the term Curriculum;b. identify the learning contents of Arts and Social Science Curriculum;
c. state resources and instructional materials needed to teach different aspects of Arts and Social Science Curriculum;
d. describe how the intellectual, skills and moral development of students be acquired; and
e. improvise instructional resources where not available.
